Ben Wallace Remains In Detroit's Crosshairs

The Pistons are intent on adding another big man before training camp, and Ben Wallace is still an option for his old team.

However, team president Joe Dumars said that the team is keeping its options open before making a final decision.

"Ben Wallace is someone we're discussing, but no decision has been made," Dumars told The Detroit News via text message.

Wallace, who was with the Pistons from 2000-2006, was released by the Phoenix Suns after being part of the trade which landed Shaquille O'Neal in Cleveland and is an unrestricted free agent.

Detroit had interest in Boston restricted free agent Glen Davis, but they appear to have soured on him.

Brian Hill Going To Detroit As Assistant

Nets assistant coach Brian Hill is leaving the team for a position with the Pistons, according to reports.

The Star-Ledger in New Jersey reported on Friday that Hill informed the Nets of his decision.

"The toughest part is leaving Lawrence and Rod, who have been so good to me over the years, and I love the guys - we have a great group of kids to work with," Hill told the Star-Ledger.

"So it's a tough decision, but for my own future -- and to help John (Kuester), who I know and respect - I've accepted the position. John's putting together a good staff, and hopefully we have a good enough group to be a playoff team."
