Minnesota Will Take Either Mayo Or Lopez?

It's looking more and more like the Timberwolves will either take O.J. Mayo or Brook Lopez with the third overall pick in June's NBA Draft, according to The Pioneer Press.

In RealGM's latest Mock Draft, Christopher Reina has Minnesota taking center Lopez. In addition, he has Memphis taking guard Mayo with the fifth overall pick.

Minnesota Looking To Take Love?

Timberwolves' General Manager Kevin McHale is looking at taking UCLA freshman Kevin Love with the third pick in next month's NBA Draft, according to DraftExpress.com.

Numerous sources with ties to Minnesota confirmed that McHale's favorite prospect is Love although some would consider him a reach that early in the draft.

There are also rumors that the Wolves could look to trade the pick for veteran talent.

Lottery Time: Are You Feeling Lucky?

The NBA lottery will be held tonight to determine who will be selecting the first three players in the 2008 NBA Draft.

While Miami, Seattle and Minnesota have the best chances, rarely does the lottery play out this way, so who is going to feel lucky and who is going to come away disappointed?

Most believe the two players who are fighting to become the first overall pick in 2008 are Derrick Rose from Memphis, and Michael Beasley from Kansas State.
