Harden Gets Injured Again Wednesday

James Harden got poked in the eye during his first day of training camp with the Thunder on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he had to leave practice again after rolling his ankle.

"Those things happen when you play hard and compete. That's the game," coach Scott Brooks said of the former Arizona State standout. "You can't go a game or a season without being nicked up sometime. Hopefully he gets his out of the way early."

Thunder Looking To Improve Defensively

With training camp just around the corner, the Thunder are looking to improve significantly on defense this season.

"That's the one part we have to do is get consistent on the defensive end," forward Jeff Green told the Oklahoman.

"Sometimes we were lackadaisical on the defensive end, myself included. If we get consistent at that, work well together as a team, with a training camp under our belt, that will help us a lot."

Desmond Mason, who recently signed with the Kings, believes that the team will benefit from a camp run by coach Scott Brooks, who is entering his first full season on the job.

"He was put in a tough situation," Mason said. "He already put in some things last season. But now he can put in his entire system. More repetitions will help. It becomes like breathing where everyone works together as a unit. You could see that late in the season."

Thunder Could Enjoy $3M Revenue Increase

Changes to the Ford Center will provide the Thunder with the chance to receive $3 million in additional revenue this season.

The addition of 700 club level luxury seats gives Oklahoma City the capability to collect $3 million more a season in ticket revenue.

If potential sales from suites are included, the Thunder could collect nearly $17 million more a season in ticket revenue compared to Seattle's KeyArena, according to the Oklahoman.
