Calderon Will Soon Have Surgery On Finger

Jose Calderon will soon have the damaged ligament in his left ring finger repaired with surgery in Toronto.

Calderon previously indicated that a minor off-season operation would be necessary to patch up the damage of a rather gruesome dislocation of the digit in a March 25 game against Milwaukee.

Raptors Could Look To Giorgos Printezis On The Wing

The Raptors own the draft rights to Giorgos Printezis, who is playing for Olympiacos in the Euroleague Final Four this week.

With Toronto facing an uncertain offseason at the wing positions, Bryan Colangelo may try to entice Printezis to the NBA.

"There's definitely an edge to him," said Colangelo. "He could very well fill that (need for toughness)."

"Coming to the NBA is high on his list," said Alex Saratsis, Printezis's U.S. agent. "Obviously he'd have to give something up to come to the NBA, it's just a matter of how much are you willing to give up? Right now, it's impossible to say."
