Canada will try to qualify for the 2016 Olympics, but the 2020 games have been targeted as when the current crop of players will truly be ready to compete.

Canada figures to feature the likes of Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, Tristan Thompson, Tyler Ennis and Kelly Olynyk.

"That's what we're trying to do," CIA Bounce head coach Mike George said. "Everybody's still a little young, and you still have a couple of years of learning how to be a professional. But by 2020, it'll be a disappointment if we're not competing for a medal."
