Jeffery Taylor has been suspended 24 games by the NBA for his role in a domestic violence incident.
"This suspension is necessary to protect the interests of the NBA and the public's confidence in it," said Adam Silver.
A 24-game suspension in the NBA is roughtly the equivalent of 4.7 NFL games.
