The Utah Jazz and Alec Burks have reached agreement on a four-year, $42 million contract extension.

Burks' deal could climb to $45 million with reachable incentive clauses.

Burks, 23, is the third young Jazz player, along with Gordon Hayward and Derrick Favors, to reach a four-year new contract with the franchise.

Burks has developed into one of the NBA's better young shooting guards.
