The Jazz are offering second-year guard DeShawn Stevenson in trade discussions with several teams, ESPN.com reported.
Supposedly operating on the logic that they need a more experienced player to help Karl Malone and John Stockton take one last shot at a championship, the Jazz reportedly have inquired about Minnesota's Wally Szczerbiak, Toronto's Keon Clark or Morris Peterson, Memphis' Michael Dickerson and Portland's Bonzi Wells.
In most cases, the Jazz would have to add Quincy Lewis in a trade to balance salaries. Stephenson, 20, still faces statutory rape charges in Fresno, Calif. NBA training camps open in early October.
