After starting the preseason swinging the ball well, finding the open man, and actually looking fluent at times the Chicago Bulls seemed to have degressed.  While Floyd played a lineup which will not resemble what we will see in a regular season game, such as starting Kevin Ollie and AJ Guyton in the backcourt and having Ron Mercer come off the bench and play only 11 minutes, the team showed Floyd little that would please him.

"Outlet passes were shoddy, our entry passes from guard to wing were shoddy," Floyd said. "We took a step back."

One bright light for Chicago however seems to be the sparks provided by high schoolers Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler.  Curry had four points and four rebounds in 13 minutes after returning from a four day bout of the flu, while Tyson Chandler had 10 points and 5 rebounds in 18 second-half minutes, including a spectacular block of a Hanno Mottola dunk attempt that excited the crowd.

"It's hard because I'm not used to coming off the bench and having to get myself right up," Chandler said. "But it's something I'll have to get used to."
