Bryon Russell looks, sees that the Jazz have opened the 2001-2002 NBA season with a disappointing 2-5 record, and feels a need to point a finger.
     At himself.
"I need to turn it around," Russell said Sunday, one day after he and his Utah teammates were downright dismal in a 117-96 Delta Center loss to the Toronto Raptors.
"I bet you I'm one of the keys to why we're losing," he added, "because if I don't get going in some way, I think I put us in a harder position than we need to be in. I mean, I'm not shooting the ball well."
Russell, who is back at it Monday night against Orlando, is quite right.
He is hardly the Jazz's only source of woe, but there is no disputing that the 30-year-old's play at the start of his ninth NBA season is not exactly up to snuff.
After going 0-for-7 from the field against the Raptors, Russell is shooting just 37 percent ? well down from the 44 percent he shot last season, and the 44.9 percent he has shot throughout his career.
