MAGIC UPDATE: Orlando is 6-8 on the road and snapped a three-game road losing streak Thursday night with a victory at Golden State. The team is playing lousy defense and has allowed each of its past four opponents to score at least 100 points.

BLAZERS UPDATE: The Blazers lost Tuesday at Dallas, then played at Utah on Friday night. Blazers small forward Scottie Pippen will play tonight's game as a college graduate. He'll graduate from the University of Central Arkansas this afternoon after taking summer and correspondence courses. Pippen did coursework to earn a bachelor's degree in kinesiology (athletic training).

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Wallace is one of the league's most talented players. He's an amazing athlete with a solid grasp of the fundamentals, and his turnaround jumper in the low post is unstoppable. The Magic cannot guard him.

ETC.: McGrady reached 40 points for the third time in six days in Thursday night's win over Golden State. McGrady scored 40 against Atlanta last Friday and 47 against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday.
