A hot topic Wednesday night was the Jerry Sloan bobblehead doll, which was handed out to the first 5,000 lucky fans to enter the Delta Center.

It's a little tough to picture the no-nonsense Sloan portrayed as something nonsensical as any kind of doll, much less a bobblehead.

And, of course, Sloan's players loved reminding their coach of that fact.

Guard John Crotty said the doll was "a little too calm, a little too sedate. We have to get some arms flailing, some feet stomping."

Karl Malone said he'd like to see the doll again next year, with one improvement: speech.

"It should have one of those drawstrings that you pull," he said. "It would be amazing what it would say. Probably couldn't give them to the kids, though."
