Roughly a week ago Golden State general manager Garry St. Jean called Timberwolves Vice President Kevin McHale to tell him, "You've made the list.''

Roughly 10 minutes before Thursday's 5 p.m. trading deadline, McHale called St. Jean back to say, "You guys still interested?''

In a decidedly surprising last-minute move, the Timberwolves traded little-used center Dean Garrett and a 2007 second-round draft pick to the Warriors for their little-used center, Marc Jackson. A Timberwolves spokesman said Jackson will take the team physical in San Antonio this morning and practice with the team there this afternoon, if all goes well.
