Thursday was a very eventful day for a couple of 7-foot guys who plan to play basketball in a Utah Jazz uniform this season.

On the same day that Jazz veteran center Greg Ostertag valiantly donated a kidney to his ailing, diabetic sister, Amy Hall, in a Dallas hospital, another 7-footer, Curtis Borchardt, went one-on-some with Utah"s assembled media at the Delta Center.

Borchardt, acquired by Utah in a draft-day trade with the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, decided to enter this year"s draft following his junior year at Stanford University, where he averaged 16.9 points, 11.4 rebounds and 2.9 blocks last season -- his first full year with the Cardinal after two collegiate seasons which were cut short by a stress fracture in his right foot.
