The Cleveland Cavaliers managed to part ways yet again with power forward Tyronne Hill, the ex-NBA finalist expected to sign with either Philadelphia or Dallas, and now the Cavaliers are looking to part with yet another veteran in the form of guard Bimbo Coles.

Bob Finnan of The News Herald writes that red tape is holding up the buyout for point guard Coles, and that it should be announced today or tomorrow. If he's not waived by Saturday at midnight, he won't be eligible to join another team for the playoffs.

Cavs center Zydrunas Ilgauskas said he would miss his former teammates, but he can't fault either side's motives.

"The guys weren't playing," he said. "They wanted to get out of here and get some playing time. It works out good for both of them."

When Coles is waived, it will leave the Cavs with 11 players. They don't plan to add another player for the time being.
