On Monday, Timberwolves center Michael Olowokandi met with orthopedic surgeon Dr. Richard Steadman and it was determined that his injured right knee needs more rehab.

"I saw the doctor, and apparently the tissue is loose in there," Olowokandi said. "They sent the MRI to another doctor in San Francisco, where all he does is study MRIs, and it was confirmed what Dr. Steadman said. Dr. Steadman also said there's a procedure to go in to correct it."

If rehab doesn't work, surgery might be needed and if it is, Olowokandi would miss six to eight weeks.
