MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) Bonzi Wells missed Memphis' game against Seattle on Tuesday night with a concussion he received in the Grizzlies' previous game.

Wells was knocked woozy during a collision in the fourth quarter of a 94-86 loss at Indiana on Monday.

Memphis coach Hubie Brown said Wells was still having headaches on Tuesday, but hoped the shooting guard would be back by Friday's home game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

``He's really a major addition. He's playing extremely well, blending into the chemistry. We're learning where to play him and how to play him,'' Brown said.

Wells was acquired Dec. 3 in a trade with the Portland Trail Blazers. In 14 games with the Grizzlies, he has averaged 14.3 points per game.

Memphis also activated forward Dahntay Jones and put guard Troy Bell on the injured list.
