It appears that Eddie Robinson's time with the Chicago Bulls is over one way or another.  The Bulls and Robinson's representatives have had talks about buying out the remaining $14 million over two years on his contract, and failing this management has made it clear that he will spend the season buried on the injured list.

"This is what we're choosing to do," Paxson said. "He and his representatives are on the same page that we are."

Robinson's camp will decide if $14 million is worth that scenario or whether to negotiate a buyout figure and hope that Robinson can sign another contract elsewhere.

Robinson, currently out of action with a sore toe, has not been present at any of the three Chicago preseason games thus far.

The Bulls must still make three cuts to reduce their roster to regulation size.
