Cleveland Cavaliers coach Paul Silas sent his point guard Eric Snow to the locker room following an 8 second violation in the 2nd quarter of a loss to the Detroit Pistons.

The incident happened after a Cleveland timeout with 3 seconds left to get the ball accross the half court line. Snow, the inbounder, got the ball in to rookie Anderson Varejao, who dribbled the ball to commit the violation.

Snow was taken out and got into a shouting match with Silas, shouting "nobody was open" at him. Silas motioned him off the bench, and Snow left for the locker room alongside teammates Robert Traylor and Scott Williams.

He returned to the bench in the 2nd half, but never returned to the game.

Both declined comment after the game.
