J.J. Redick and Randy Foye were two players that worked out for the Jazz on Tuesday.

"All those guys played hard," he said. "It was a nice workout. It's fun to watch guys when it looks like they're excited about playing." Asked about Redick, Sloan said, "He can play basketball."

"He showed an ability to shoot the ball and move his feet," said Jazz vice president of basketball operations Kevin O'Connor. "He and Randy were as good as advertised."

Redick is excited about the possibility with joining former Blue Devil Carlos Boozer.  "I'm good friends with Deron Williams," he added.
