After losing out on Tim Thomas, the Suns have come to terms with another ex-Bull in Eric Piatkowski, according to the Arizona Republic.

Piatkowski agreed to a two-year, $2.4 million deal with the Suns after spending the last two years in Chicago. Both years are guaranteed and at the minimum for a player of his experience. He can sign July 12.

The Suns continue to seek a veteran backup point guard. They have honed in on Lindsey Hunter, 35, now that Bobby Jackson has come to terms with New Orleans. Phoenix will have to beat Detroit for Hunter, who spent 10 of his 13 seasons there. A Hunter deal might start in the range of $1.5 million to $2 million for the first year.

In other Suns news, Maciej Lampe is back with the team for the summer league.
