Spain has exported several of its national team stars to the NBA in recent years. That trend could continue with Rudy Fernandez.

Fernandez, a 6-5 shooting guard for DKV Joventut, has drawn rave reviews for his play in both the ACB and Euroleague, the world's two strongest circuits outside the NBA.

In each of the last two drafts, Fernandez, 22, made himself an early entry candidate but withdrew his name each time. An NBA scout based in Europe believes he is a first-round pick.
