Seattle general manager Sam Presti is expected to sit down with Spurs assistant P.J. Carlesimo as soon as the Spurs' season is over to discuss the SuperSonics' coaching job, an NBA source said Wednesday.

Presti left the Spurs last week to head Seattle's front office. How high Carlesimo ranks on his list of candidates remains unclear; Presti also has a strong relationship with former Indiana coach Rick Carlisle.

The Sacramento Kings also are still looking for a coach after Stan Van Gundy turned down their offer and joined Orlando. Depending on how long Kings officials extend their search, Carlesimo might get a call from the team.
