Sonics' center Kurt Thomas pulled himself from the starting lineup after suffering a sprained right ankle in the win against Minnesota on Friday.

Thomas said the injury occurred with about four minutes remaining when he landed after grabbing a rebound. Thomas fell but continued to play and capped the 99-88 win with a two-handed dunk off an assist from guard Luke Ridnour.

"That could have had something to do with it," said Thomas, who makes it clear his dunking days are over at age 35 after 13 years in the NBA. "I'm not a dunker, but the adrenaline had me going."
