IUPUI coach Ron Hunter's original goal of raising 30,000 shoes for charity has been taken to a new level, according to ESPN.com.

By the tip-off of Thursday night's game, he had collected 110,000 pairs of shoes that will all be sent to Samaritan's Feet, a charity based in Charlotte, N.C.

"When we started this I thought 40,000 was going to be tough," Hunter told the Indianapolis Star. "When they told me before the game we already had 100,000, honestly, I almost broke down in tears."
