Ray Allen is the latest member of the Celtics to publicly support re-signing forward James Posey, according to The Boston Herald.

"He brings experience, championship experience," Allen said Friday. "It?s hard to find a guy who is the sixth man, coming off the bench, that has two rings that doesn?t want to have to shoot the ball all of the time."

Posey, an 11-year veteran, is seeking at least a four-year deal worth the midlevel exception.

"He?s a big priority for us for the offseason. We hope that he decides to come back. He was a big cog, and we definitely want him back on our roster," Allen added.
