The pain keeps coming following the moped-induced ankle injury suffered by Warriors' guard Monta Ellis this summer.

In addition to surgery following the August crash and a 30-game suspension, Ellis will lose $3 million after being suspended without pay by Golden State President Robert Rowell.

GM Chris Mullin and Coach Don Nelson reportedly thought the risks of suspending Ellis outweighed the financial benefits.

"That's really not my territory," Nelson said Saturday. "I'm coaching the team, and that's it. You could talk to the other parties about that if you'd like."
