Zydrunas Ilgauskas has a player option for the 2009-10 season and while he could possibly secure a multi-year deal during the summer, he is not interested in doing so.

"I asked Z about this on the first day of training camp and was surprised he instantly ruled it out," writes Brian Windhorst. "He does sound like he wants to play a few more years, but $11.5 million next season is a lot to leave on the table. He's made a lot of money, I don't think he's after the last dime."
