New York plans on upgrading their point guard position, pushing Chris Duhon to a reserve position, the New York Daily News is reporting.

The Knicks signed Duhon from Chicago with the idea of making him a backup, but with Stephon Marbury banished from the team he quickly earned the starting job and excelled.

According to the report, a trade is not out of the question since Duhon is entering the final year of his contract.
