Jazz coach Jerry Sloan will have to mix and match his swingman rotation due to an injured-depleted roster.

Utah had six players -- Ronnie Brewer, C.J. Miles, Andrei Kirilenko, Matt Harpring, Morris Almond and Kyle Korver -- competing for minutes at shooting guard and small forward last season.

However, Miles is out after thumb surgery, retirement is still a possibility for Harping and Almond wasn't brought back this offseason.

"I remember a year ago, we were like, 'Man, we have so many wings,' " Korver told the Salt Lake Tribune, "and now it's like, 'We don't really have that many wings.' "

Sloan could use Paul Millsap at small forward at times to soften the blow.

"We'll fill in with different guys, kind of like we've always done," Sloan said, "and try to see where we can mix and match and have the best chance to win."
