Thunder forward Jeff Green is much less heralded than teammate Kevin Durant, but his play has been integral to the team's success.

When Green plays well, Oklahoma City generally wins games. When he struggles, so do the Thunder.

"He's a very integral part of our team," said Durant. "He's one of our leaders, so we depend on him a lot. We've got to continue to encourage him and feed him the ball and make sure his confidence is always up."

Green is averaging 17.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in Oklahoma City's 10 victories.

However, in the team's nine losses he's averaging 11.3 points and 5.3 boards.

In addition, Green's shooting percentages are much better when the Thunder win.

"When he rebounds, that really helps us," said Thunder coach Scott Brooks. "Do I like him making shots? Yes. But I like him rebounding just as much for us. If he can get to seven or eight rebounds a game it helps."
