Portland guard Rudy Fernandez is looking for a second opinion on his troublesome back.

Fernandez has missed the team's last two games and was set to get a second opinion in Portland on Monday.

His back problems stem from the nasty fall he took against the Lakers last season when Trevor Ariza fouled him from behind. Fernandez left the court on a stretcher and in a neck brace following the incident.

"This latest came from a week ago in practice, during a pick and roll he was bumped, and it was a different pain," the guard's agent, Gerard Darnes, said.

Fernandez is averaging 8.6 points and 2.2 assists per game this season.
