Portland guard Jerryd Bayless has refuted reports that he or his agent asked the team to trade him.

"No," Bayless told Blazers Edge when asked if he approached general manager Kevin Pritchard about a trade.

"Not that I know of," he added when asked if his agent or someone on his behalf spoke with Pritchard.

Bayless is averaging 5.8 points and 1.1 assists per game this season.
