After signing Pau Gasol to a contract extension, the Lakers continue to discuss a similar deal with Kobe Bryant.

Los Angeles could give Bryant a three-year extension worth upwards up $91 million, depending on salary cap figures.

Bryant has two years left on his current deal that pays him $23 million this season and $24.8 million next season.

"We continue to have dialogue with Kobe and his representative," general manager Mitch Kupchak said. "I do anticipate continued discussions."
