Marcus Marshall has given a verbal commitment to Missouri State.

Marshall, a 6-foot-2 guard from St. Paul, Minnesota, is Missouri State's first recruit for the 12-13 season.

Indiana State, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Kent State and Murray State also offered Marshall following a strong summer on the AAU circuit.
