Steve Kerr stated that DeMarcus Cousins is still on schedule to make his season debut this Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers.

There were rumors that Cousins could come back as early as Wednesday against the Pelicans, though that is unlikely now.

Cousins will be in the starting lineup upon his return.

"Same person. I play with a chip on my shoulder. I use different things as fuel to keep me moving forward. I'm going to use the same things. I'm looking forward to proving myself on the floor," said Cousins last week.
