On the eve of Game 1 of The Finals, Steve Kerr was asked to provide an update on Kevin Durant as he works to recover from a calf strain.

"No, Kevin is, I think we already announced he's not playing in Game 1," said Kerr. "His next step is individual court work, so that will be the next priority over the next couple of days. Hopefully he can wrap that up, and then he's going to have to practice. We have to see him in practice before he can play a game, and he hasn't practiced yet."

Durant suffered the calf injury in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals on May 8th.

The Warriors are 5-0 since Durant suffered the injury.
