The New York Knicks are interested in acquiring starter-level players who can help the team both in the short- and long-term, league sources told Ian Begley of SNY.

Teams who have been in trade talks with the Knicks came away believing that they weren't just focused on acquiring future draft picks or young players.

SNY also adds that the Knicks are impressed by Marcus Morris and believe he could have a long-term future with the team. 

Morris has also been the subject of trade speculation.
