Andrew Bogut announced his retirement from basketball following a 15-year career.

Bogut, who last played in the NBA for the Warriors during the 2018-19 season, spent last year in Australia's NBL.

Bogut added that he would have made the decision to retire earlier had the Tokyo Olympics not been postponed a year.

"I'm really starting to value my health away from the court and my health when I'm 40, 45, and 50. Some people might say it's only six months of training but I'm at a point where I just can't do it," said Bogut.

Bogut averaged 9.6 points and 8.7 rebounds for his NBA career.
