The Toronto Raptors have extended qualifying offers to guards Gary Trent Jr. and Nando De Colo. Both players will now be restricted free agents when free agency opens on August 2.

Toronto acquired Trent from the Portland Trail Blazers at the 2021 trade deadline in exchange for Norman Powell. Because Trent met starter criteria, he was eligible for an increased qualifying offer. Trent's qualifying offer and cap hold will be $4.7 million.

De Colo hasn't played for Toronto since the end of the 2013-14 season. He's played overseas in Russia and Turkey for the past seven seasons, as well as being a mainstay on the French national team. The Raptors have issued qualifying offers to De Colo in each offseason since 2014. This allows Toronto to maintain match rights, should De Colo ever return to the NBA.
