The Los Angeles Lakers could emerge with interest in DeAndre Jordan should he agree to a buyout with the Brooklyn Nets, a source tells Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report. Jordan's minutes declined with the Nets as the 20-21 season progressed and a buyout could save the team on its luxury tax bill.

Jordan signed a four-year, $40 million deal with the Nets during the 2019 offseason.

Jordan spent 10 seasons playing for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Shams Charania and Alex Schiffer of The Athletic also reported on Monday that Jordan is increasingly unlikely to remain with the Nets moving forward but no decision has been reached.
