The Cleveland Cavaliers were dismayed when Ricky Rubio went down with a torn ACL in late-December. To aid their playoff push, the Cavs ultimately traded Rubio and his expiring contract to the Indiana Pacers for Caris LeVert.

Now, with Rubio's contract having expired, the Cavaliers would like to bring Rubio back to Cleveland. Because the Pacers didn't waive Rubio and his contract expired, the Cavs are able to re-sign the veteran point guard this summer.

Rubio had a bounce-back season with Cleveland. He didn't shoot well for the umpteenth year in a row, but Rubio averaged 13.1 points and 6.6 assist in 28.5 minutes per game off the bench.
