Lou Williams has announced his retirement from basketball. Williams played 17 seasons in the NBA and won the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2015, 2018 and 2019.

Williams averaged 13.9 points per game for his career. He topped out at 22.6 points per game in 2018, when he won Sixth Man of the Year coming off the bench for the LA Clippers.

Williams started his career directly out of high school with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2005. The high-scoring guard also played for the Atlanta Hawks (two different stints), Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets and the Clippers during his career.
