Damian Jones has exercised his player option for next season to stay with the Utah Jazz. Jones will be on Utah's books for $2.6 million in the final season of a two-year deal he originally signed with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Jones averaged 15.8 minutes per game with the Jazz, after being acquired in a three-team trade at the 2023 trade deadline. The veteran center averaged 4.6 points and 3.5 rebounds in a backup role behind rookie Walker Kessler.
