Blake Griffin has canceled his meetings with the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets in free agency.
Unless there is a wildcard team that enters the picture, there is a sense that Griffin will re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Unless there is a wildcard team that enters the picture, there is a sense that Griffin will re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers.
While the Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics and Miami Heat are the three teams with meetings scheduled with Gordon Hayward in free agency, a fourth team could get involved as well.
"It wouldn't shock me if a secret fourth team scheduled a last-minute meeting with him, either," writes Zach Lowe.
While Lowe doesn't suggest any potential candidates to be that fourth secret team, the Philadelphia 76ers, San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets are three teams that would fit logically and either have enough cap space or could create enough.
The Spurs have pursued trade scenarios this offseason involving both Danny Green and LaMarcus Aldridge.
Paul Millsap is unlikely to return to the Atlanta Hawks this offseason as they pivot towards a rebuild with Travis Schlenk as general manager. Schlenk has suggested multiple times in the media that they may not be able to offer a contract to Millsap that beats a rival team.
The Hawks and Millsap have mutual interest in a sign-and-trade scenario.
"I know sign-and-trade discussions have already happened involving Millsap and the Hawks," said Brian Windhorst on The Basketball Analogy podcast.
The Houston Rockets have interest in signing Millsap and a sign-and-trade deal would help facilitate a move since they are short on cap space at present. The Rockets have been searching for a Ryan Anderson trade, but teams are requesting two first round picks to take on his salary.
Millsap could still sign outright with a team such as the Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets or Minnesota Timberwolves.
John Gambadoro of 98.7 in Phoenix reports Millsap will meet with the Suns at the start of free agency.
The Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets and Indiana Pacers have discussed a three-team trade involving Paul George and Kevin Love.
In the discussed trade scenario, George would end up with the Cavaliers while Love would go to the Nuggets.
While George would like to end up playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, the Cavaliers could risk trading for George due to the unique nature of competing for a title playing with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.
The Cavaliers would like to improve their team this offseason and be better suited to play against the Warriors, which George would do instead of Love.
One version of the three-team would trade would have Kenneth Faried going to the Cavaliers. The Nuggets have made upgrading the power forward position one of their priorities this offseason.
Denver made Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray off limits in trade talks.
The Denver Nuggets discussed a Jimmy Butler trade with the Chicago Bulls, but were unwilling to include Jamal Murray in any deal.
Murray was one of the league's better rookies last season and is part of Denver's core around Nikola Jokic.
Denver also had concerns about the possibility of Butler leaving in 2019 when he can become a free agent.
Chicago instead traded Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Utah Jazz have traded Trey Lyles and the No. 24 overall pick to the Denver Nuggets for the No. 13 pick that they used on Donovan Mitchell.
Mitchell is a combo guard out of Louisville that plays well off the ball.
Lyles was a lottery pick in 2015 out of Kentucky.
The Denver Nuggets and Chicago Bulls were engaged with the Phoenix Suns on Eric Bledsoe trade talks leading to the draft.
If the Suns pick De'Aaron Fox at No. 4, it likely means they were able to trade away Bledsoe.
Chris Haynes adds the talks with Denver would feature Emmanuel Mudiay and the No. 13 pick.
Josh Jackson is a more likely pick at No. 4 if Bledsoe is not dealt.
Bledsoe signed a five-year, $70 million contract with the Suns in 2014.
The Denver Nuggets have tendered a qualifying offer to Mason Plumlee, which will make him a restricted free agent. Plumlee's qualifying offer is worth approximately $4.59 million.
Plumlee was acquired by the Nuggets in February from the Portland Trail Blazers for Jusuf Nurkic and a first round pick.
Plumlee averaged 9.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 23.4 minutes after joining the Nuggets. Plumlee has a career PER of 18.0.
Chris Paul plans to meet with the Los Angeles Clippers, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets in free agency.
Paul can earn $205 million over five years with the Clippers, or $152 million over four years with another team.
The Clippers have recently become “nervous” about the reports that San Antonio will make a big push to sign Paul.
The Spurs and Rockets finished with the second and third seeds in the Western Conference. Denver just missed out on the playoffs but they have a promising young core with a lot of depth.
In 2013, Paul informed the Clippers he was going to sign with the Rockets until they finalized their deal to hire Doc Rivers.
The Denver Nuggets have promoted Arturas Karnisovas to general manager while also elevating Tim Connelly to president of basketball operations.
Karnisovas was a candidate to become general manager of the Milwaukee Bucks along with Justin Zanik.
