The Indiana Pacers have signed Jordan Bell. The five-year veteran is likely to land with the Indiana Mad Ants of the G League after the preseason.

The Pacers also waived Pedro Bradshaw and Craig Sword. Both players were signed with plans for them to play for the Mad Ants this season.

The Phoenix Suns made a move to improve their depth, when they added Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen and Nassir Little this week. But Phoenix isn't done tinkering with their roster.

The Suns remain interested in trading for Indiana Pacers point guard T.J. McConnell. Phoenix has Jordan Goodwin as the only pure point guard on their roster right now, and seemingly wants more depth at that position.

McConnell has spent the last four seasons with the Pacers, after spending the first four years of his career with the Philadelphia 76ers. Last season, McConnell averaged 8.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 20.3 minutes per game off Indiana's bench.

The eight-year veteran point guard will turn 32 years old in late-March. McConnell is under contract for $8.7 million this season and $5 million of his $9.3 million deal is guaranteed for the 2024-25 season.

The Indiana Pacers signed Pedro Bradshaw and Craig Sword to Exhibit 10 deals on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old Bradshaw played for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants last season.

Sword appeared in three games for the Wizards during the 2021-22 season. 

Buddy Hield is open to a trade away from the Indiana Pacers, sources told Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Charania adds that no trade is currently imminent and there is no urgency for the Pacers to make a deal. 

The Mavs, Sixers, and Bucks have registered interest in Hield in recent months. 

Trade conversations are expected to increase as training camps open in October.

Bell has played for the Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies, Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls in his five-year NBA career. Last season, the 6-foot-8 big man played in China and averaged 10.7 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.9 blocks in 24.7 minutes per game.

The Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers, and Milwaukee Bucks are among teams that have registered recent interest in Buddy Hield, according to Shams Charania.

"The Lakers were long rumored for Buddy Hield. You look at teams like Dallas, Philly, Milwaukee. Those are the types of teams that could definitely use a shooter like Buddy Hield, and they've had a level of interest in him over the last several months," said Charania on The Rally.

The Pacers started trade talks on Hield after the two sides failed to reach a contract extension. 

The Lakers and Pacers reportedly discussed a trade involving Hield last August. 

The Indiana Pacers have begun a dialogue with Buddy Hield on a potential trade after the two sides were unable to agree to terms on an extension.

Hield is open to a trade elsewhere, but no deal is imminent.

The Pacers made an extension offer to Hield, but it is believed the proposal didn't make him feel desired.

Hield is on a $19.2 million expiring contract.
