CJ McCollum agreed to a three-year, $100 million extension with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The agreement extends his current deal to five-years and $157 million.

Pau Gasol has agreed to a one-year deal with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Gasol finished last season with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Blazers also acquired Hassan Whiteside in the offseason.

Damian Lillard has withdrawn from Team USA's training camp and FIBA World Cup.

Lillard was one of the lone remaining All-Stars on the roster following a surge of withdraws. 

CJ McCollum has withdrawn from Team USA training camp and the FIBA World Cup to focus on the upcoming season, league sources told Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

McCollum's decision comes on the heels of Eric Gordon and James Harden also withdrawing from the competition.

McCollum averaged 21.0 points in 70 games with the Blazers last season. 

Damian Lillard spoke about his Game 5 buzzer-beater walk-off for the Portland Trail Blazers to eliminate the Oklahoma City Thunder. 

"What can I say? That was for Seattle," Lillard said on Sports Business Radio.

The Thunder relocated from Seattle before the 08-09 season, which has remained a controversial subject within the NBA.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a three-year, $11.5 million deal with Jake Layman in a sign-and-trade agreement.

Anthony Tolliver will sign a one-year deal, $2.6 million deal with the Portland Trail Blazers.

The 34-year-old Tolliver averaged 5.0 points in 65 games with the Timberwolves last season.

The Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat, Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a four-team trade centered on Jimmy Butler. Butler will receive a four-year, $142 million max contract.

The Dallas Mavericks were in the original iteration of the deal with either Goran Dragic or Kelly Olynyk and Derrick Jones Jr. going to them from the Heat.

The Clippers will receive Maurice Harkless in the deal but preserve enough cap space to sign Kawhi Leonard should they receive a commitment. The Clippers will also receive a protected 2023 first round pick from the Heat for taking back the $11 million expiring contract of Harkless.

Harkless was originally going to be traded to the Heat as part of the Hassan Whiteside deal. Meyers Leonard will still be traded to the Heat.

The 76ers will receive Josh Richardson.

Seth Curry has agreed to a four-year, $32 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks.

Curry was previously with the Mavericks before signing with the Portland Trail Blazers last offseason.

The Portland Trail Blazers have agreed to acquire Hassan Whiteside from the Miami Heat for Mo Harkless and Meyers Leonard.

Whiteside will start at center for the Blazers while Jusuf Nurkic recovers from his broken leg.
