The Sacramento Kings signed James Akinjo to a training camp deal, sources told Keith Smith of Spotrac.

Akinjo appeared in 20 games last season for the Westchester Knicks.

The Kings are also expected to add Jeremy Lamb and Jaylen Nowell ahead of training camp, according to James Ham of ESPN 1320. 

The New York Knicks are one of several teams with an interest in Jrue Holiday, according to Ian Begley of SNY.

Holiday also has interest from the Heat, Clippers, Lakers, and Celtics, among other teams. 

Sam Amick of The Athletic adds that the Kings are no longer interested in Holiday. 

The Sacramento Kings brought Jaylen Nowell in for a workout, sources told Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

The 24-year-old averaged 10.8 points in 65 regular season games for the Timberwolves last season. 

The Sacramento Kings have signed guard Deonte Burton to a training camp deal. It's likely Burton will join the Stockton Kings of the G League after the preseason.

Burton played in 33 games for Stockton last season. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 11.5 points on 52.1% shooting, including 41.2% on three-pointers.

The Sacramento Kings are reportedly set to sign center Chance Comanche. The Kings are expected to add Comanche on a training camp deal, which will ultimately see him land with the Stockton Kings in the G League.

In 43 games (10 starts) with Stockton last season, Comanche averaged 12.9 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks. The 6-foot-10 center has also played for Memphis and Cleveland in the G League, as well as in Turkey in his six-year career.

The Boston Celtics and Neemias Queta have agreed to a Two-Way deal.

Queta was recently waived by the Sacramento Kings, who drafted him in the second round in 2021.

The Sacramento Kings have signed Jordan Ford to a Two-Way contract. 

Ford went undrafted in 2020 out of Saint Mary's.

Ford was also on the Kings during the 2022 preseason and then appeared in 32 games with the Stockton Kings of the G League. Ford averaged 14.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 26.1 minutes.

Ford started 50 games for Stockton last season. The 6-foot-1 guard averaged 14.2 points, 4.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game in the G League.

The Sacramento Kings will waive Nerlens Noel and Neemias Queta. 

Both players signed partially guaranteed one-year deals with the Kings this offseason. The Kings, however, added JaVale McGee after he was waived by the Dallas Mavericks. McGee will be on Sacramento's regular season roster behind Domantas Saobnis and Alex Len at center. 

Noel and Queta will be free to join a team where they have an opportunity to make a regular season roster. 

Noel had approximately $300,000 in guaranteed money, while Queta had $250,000.
