Lady Vols Coach Pat Summitt Dies At Age 64

Hall of Fame coach Pat Summitt, a pioneer of women's college basketball who guided the Tennessee Volunteers to eight national titles in her 38 seasons at the university, died Tuesday morning.

She was 64.

Summitt led the Lady Vols to 1,098 victories -- the most in Division I college basketball history (men or women) ­­-- before stepping down in 2012, one year after announcing she had early onset dementia, Alzheimer's type.

Terrance Ferguson Won't Play At Arizona, Will Go Overseas

Terrance Ferguson is expected to play overseas rather than enrolling at Arizona as a freshman.

Ferguson is a top-20 player in the incoming class of 2016.

Ferguson is also expected to sign a shoe deal with Under Armour.

Ferguson's high school, Advanced Preparatory International in Dallas, is an offshoot of the former Prime Prep Academy that Emmanuel Mudiay attended.

Jarrett Allen Signs With Texas

Jarrett Allen has signed his scholarship papers with Texas.

Allen, a standout at nearby Austin (Tex.) St. Stephen's Episcopal, was recruited by a host of high majors, but ultimately chose Texas over Houston and Kansas.

Allen is considered the third ranked center in the incoming class of 2016 and 15th overall.
