The Los Angeles Lakers have signed center Ronnie Aguilar.

Aguilar, a 7-1, 250 pound center, played two seasons at Colorado State before transferring to California State Dominguez Hills.

The Portland Trail Blazers have signed Adam Morrison, Demonte Harper and Dallas Lauderdale.

Morrison played in Serbia and Turkey before joining the Brooklyn Nets and L.A. Clippers summer league squads in July. Morrison averaged 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 30.0 minutes in five games with the Clippers.

Harper spent last season playing in Croatia before playing for the Denver Nuggets NBA Summer League squad in July.

Lauderdale spent the 2011-12 season playing in Poland.

Pacers Sign Luke Nevill, Ben Hansbrough To Camp Deals

The Indiana Pacers have signed Luke Nevill and Ben Hansbrough to training camp contracts. 

Nevill is a 7-2 center out of the University of Utah (2009). He was the Mountain West Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in 2009. Since then, he has played in the NBA D-League with the Utah Flash and overseas in Australia and Russia.

Hansbrough is the younger brother of Pacers’ forward Tyler Hansbrough.

The Toronto Raptors have officially re-signed Jamaal Magloire.

Magloire averaged 1.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 11.0 minutes in 34 appearances with the Raptors last season. 

Magloire's deal is non-guaranteed, according to reports.

Josh Harrellson Signs With Heat

The Miami Heat have signed center Josh Harrellson. 

Harrellson appeared in 37 games (four starts) for the New York Knicks last season averaging 4.4 points and 3.9 rebounds in 14.6 minutes of action while shooting 42.3 percent from the field, including 33.9 percent from three-point range. In his four starts, he averaged 10.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.00 blocks and 30.8 minutes while shooting 46 percent from the field. He scored a career-high 18 points in a 104-84 victory at Charlotte on April 26 and posted a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double at Sacramento on December 31, helping New York capture the 114-92 win. He appeared in five postseason games with New York during the Opening Round of the 2012 NBA Playoffs against the HEAT and totaled 10 points and eight rebounds in 25 minutes.

Nets Sign Dennis, Mays, Scott To Training Camp Deals

The Brooklyn Nets have signed free agents Stephen Dennis, James Mays, and Carleton Scott.

All three players played overseas last season. The Nets training camp roster stands at 18 players.

Dennis, a 6’6” guard, spent four years at Kutztown University. In his senior season he averaged 26.6 points per game and was named to the Division II All-American Team. After college, Dennis played for the Bakersfield Jam in the NBA D-League, where in 51 games he averaged 18.5 points, 6.9 assists and 5.6 rebounds. 

Mays, a 6’9’’ forward, spent four years at Clemson University. After his senior season, he was the second overall pick by the Colorado 14ers in the 2008 NBA D-League Draft.  

Scott, a 6’8” forward, played three years at the University of Notre Dame. Named the 2010 Co-Most Improved Player. After graduating in 2011, Scott went to Austria and played for the UBC Carefuel Gussing Knights.

Lakers Sign Darius Johnson-Odom

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed rookie guard Darius Johnson-Odom.

Johnson-Odom, the 55th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, was acquired by the Lakers from Dallas on draft night. The 6-2 guard out of Marquette averaged 15.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 105 career games. As a senior, the Raleigh, North Carolina native led his team in scoring (18.3ppg) and earned First Team All-Big East honors in addition to being named an Honorable Mention All-American by the Associated Press.

The 6-7, 185-pound guard out of Tennessee Tech was selected 47th overall by the Jazz in the 2012 NBA Draft. In five games (two starts) for the Jazz entry in the 2012 Orlando Pro Summer League, Murphy averaged 8.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 23 minutes of action.

Nets Sign Andray Blatche

The Brooklyn Nets have signed forward Andray Blatche.

Blatche played in 26 games for the Washington Wizards in 2011-12, making 13 starts. The 6-11 forward averaged 8.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in 24.1 minutes per game. As a starter, Blatche posted averages of 11.5 points and 7.4 rebounds in 31.0 minutes per game. Due to a calf injury, Blatche was forced to miss the last 40 games of the season.

Blatche was waived by the Wizards in July using their amnesty provision.
